Does Cove protect against ransomware?
Yes. Because Cove stores backups directly in its private cloud, off your local network, they are out of reach of ransomware attacks that target locally stored backup data. Mandatory two-factor authentication and AES 256-bit end-to-end encryption add further layers of protection around access and data security.
How quickly can we recover if something goes wrong?
Cove supports recovery point objectives as tight as 15 minutes with automated backups running throughout the day. The Standby Image feature creates a bootable image after every backup, meaning recovery can begin almost immediately.
