Scotties in the City 2026

This summer, something special is happening on the streets of Glasgow - and we're proud to be part of it.

Scotties in the City is a free public art trail organised by Maggie's and Wild in Art, bringing a pack of giant, artist-designed Scottie dog sculptures to Glasgow from 18 June to 16 August 2026. Each dog is unique, sponsored by local businesses and designed to celebrate creativity, community and a fantastic cause.

Meet our Scottie - Worldie!

With Scotland currently flying the flag in the World Cup group stages, we couldn't think of a more fitting tribute. Decked out in Scotland team colours and World Cup theming, Worldie captures the national pride and excitement that's sweeping the country right now. You can find Worldie located in Central Station.

But beyond the football, this sponsorship means something more to us at Kick. Maggie's has long been a cause close to our hearts - supporting people with cancer and their families with free, compassionate care whenever it's needed most. Being part of an event that raises awareness and vital funds for such an incredible charity is something we're genuinely proud of.

So whether you're exploring Glasgow this summer, following the trail with the family, or just keeping an eye out for Worldie on your way past - we'd love you to get involved, show your support, and help us back Maggie's.

Meet Roma McCook, the artist behind Worldie!

For Roma, this was her first public art project, and one she threw herself into wholeheartedly. Surrounded by a talented and welcoming artistic community, the experience has been something she'll never forget.

Worldie is now out in the world for all to see - a proud Scotland supporter dressed and ready for World Cup glory.

Worldie the Scottie dog is gearing up for the adventure of a lifetime, Born and raised in Glasgow, he's no stranger to excitement, but even he knows this journey is something special. With his glossy black coat freshly brushed and his kilt on, Worldie proudly pats the front of his sporran because that's where he's keeping the most important treasure he owns: his World Cup tickets. In the days leading up to his departure, he's become a familiar sight trotting around Glasgow, ears perked and tail bouncing, accepting pats from admirers who wish him luck. Worldie seems to understand he's not just traveling for himself, he's carrying a wee piece of Scotland with him. As he sets off, paws tapping eagerly, Glasgow beams with pride. The world may have its superstars, but none quite like this wee football-loving Scottie.
